About The Tasting Team
At The Tasting Team we’ve run over 3000 tasting and sampling sessions around Australia and we pride ourselves on being the beer, wine, cider and spirit specialists. We’ve gathered a team of professionals who are enthusiastic about craft brewing and local brands, people who can tell an IPA from a pilsener and who want to share this knowledge with you.
At The Tasting Team we don’t just hire pretty faces; we take the time to train our staff to ensure they have an impeccable level of product knowledge. We handpick the staff which are best suited to represent a specific product, and ensure that each Tasting Team member has a passion for what they’re endorsing and a wealth of knowledge to back that up, so they’re able to properly educate the public.

Brands We Promote
Since we started The Tasting Team we’ve been committed to promoting craft beers, microbreweries, and independant vineyards and distilleries. We love to talk about traditional methods and ingredients as well as get to know the people making the stuff that we love to drink.
The Tasting Team currently represents the folks at James Squire, Little Creatures, Matso’s, Coopers and Feral Brewery (to name just a few) and we’re always looking to work with more brands!
We require all our staff to uphold an exceptional level of customer service, background knowledge of the products which we sample, and have a commitment to the tasting schedule. Once a tasting is booked in, the team is 100% committed to filling all bookings, with no rescheduling or last minute cancellations. The Tasting Team have a proven track record of increasing the sales of products by running tasting sessions and we believe that our staff give customers a unique sampling experience which keeps customers coming back for more.

We make sure to pick enthusiastic people who are passionate about craft beers, local wines and ciders and the odd spirit or two, so you can be sure your tasting is in good hands with folks who know and love what they’re talking about. Booking System
We’ve been busy behind the scenes creating our brand new custom built booking system. We wanted to make something mobile friendly so staff can use it on the go, and the easy to use dashboard allows all members of the team to see when their next shift is and which bookings they’ve accepted. Tasting Team members will also receive emails and SMS notifications about any new shifts; it couldn’t be simpler!
Be Part of the Team
At The Tasting Team we’re always looking for enthusiastic hopheads, wine geeks and craft cider lovers to join our ranks. The Tasting Team can be found at liquor stores and pubs across Australia showcasing a range of exciting and quality alcoholic beverages. During a tasting session our staff are trained to engage the public, share product knowledge and offer samples of the brand being promoted.
Before we send you to a tasting, we train you with vital product and brand knowledge to make sure you’re confident leading a sampling session. When we think you’re ready (and only then) we’ll assign you with your first shift and send you on your way.
